General Fund
At the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM), we are dedicated to fighting for justice, equity, and the rights of marginalized communities. Our General Fund helps us take action where it’s needed most—whether it’s advocating for justice, covering operational cost, supporting our COMMUNITY service program or assist with hosting FREE community events or workshops.
By making a donation together, we can build a more just and equitable society. Your gift today will fuel the work that transforms lives and creates lasting impact.
Freedom Fund
The AADM Freedom Fund is dedicated to providing crucial resources and financial assistance to individuals burdened by financial hardship which hinders them from regaining their FREEDOM. This fund offers vital support for covering legal fines, probation fees, court-mandated classes, rehabilitation costs, driver’s license reinstatement, and skills development. By addressing these barriers, we help individuals regain their freedom and rebuild their lives.
No one should be denied their freedom due to poverty. By removing these financial obstacles, the Freedom and Hope program aims to restore dignity, empower individuals, and promote a path toward justice, stability, and hope for a better future.
Women Wellness and Justice
The Women Wellness and Justice program, launched by the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) in honor of the late Debra Brenner, is dedicated to uplifting women facing challenges related to mental health, housing insecurity, and the legal system. Inspired by Debra’s tireless advocacy for justice, equity, and community care, this program provides holistic support to marginalized women by offering financial assistance for mental health services, housing stability, and legal fines and fees.
Debra Brenner’s legacy lives on through this program, as we continue her fight for a more just, equitable, and compassionate world. We invite you to join us in this effort and become part of a community that stands for both wellness and justice.
Youth Justice & Empowerment Fund
Our Youth Empowerment Fund supports the AADM End School to Prison Pipeline (ESTPP) Program designed to combat the systemic factors that lead youth, particularly Black and minority students, from schools into the criminal justice system. The program is built on three foundational pillars: a Summer Camp, Youth Career Development Workshops and Funding, in addition to hosting the an Annual ESTPP Conference.
By making a donation you can help empower at-risk youth, break the cycle of incarceration by addressing issues like systemic racism, poverty, and punitive discipline policies in schools.
