Women & Youth Empowerment
Women Wellness and Justice Leadership
The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) is proud to introduce the Women’s Wellness and Justice Leadership Program—a transformative initiative designed to empower women by prioritizing self-care, leadership development, and community impact.
Inspired by the legacy of Debra Brenner, a tireless advocate for justice and community care, this program acknowledges the unique struggles women face while leading in advocacy spaces. It provides a safe space for connection, a supportive community, and access to essential resources. Through this program, participants will develop leadership skills, foster resilience, and enhance their well-being as they work to create lasting change for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Women Wellness and Justice Leadership Cohort begins March 2025. This initiative is designed to empower women leaders by fostering wellness, building advocacy skills, and strengthening community connections.

The AADM offers a one-week summer camp for at-risk students that includes hands-on activities to help participants build confidence, develop career skills, travel, and use creative expression to promote messages of justice. The camp also provides education about the school-to-prison pipeline, equipping participants with knowledge to drive change in their communities
