Athens, GA. – Activist, educator, and former political candidate Mokah-Jasmine Johnson will be releasing a new youth guide titled “Let’s Talk About the School to Prison Pipeline” at an event hosted by the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) on Wednesday, November 10th. The book, which includes information about what the school-to-prison pipeline is, and how students can protect their rights and make a difference, was written by AADM co-founder Mokah-Jasmine Johnson and illustrated by Eleanor Davis.
Join us on Wednesday, November 10th, from 5:30 to 7:00pm at the AADM Justice Center and Bookstore for the release of this new comic book and an important follow-up discussion.
This event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome. All donations will support the programs and services provided by Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement, including bailout assistance and legal support for the Athens community; the Teen Social Justice Program; our Community Service program; community events, and much more.
