Community Discussion: Know Your Rights and Criminal Justice Reform Forum

Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) is proud to host a community discussion on criminal justice reform and your rights when engaging with law enforcement! Join us on February 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Athens-Clarke County Library for an opportunity to ask questions and learn about several topics of interest. Guest speakers include police Chief Spruill and Clarke County solicitor, C.R. Chisholm. Attendees will learn more about Athens Cash Bail Reform Ordinance, our Pre-Arrest Diversion program, and the upcoming Community Police Review Board. There will also be a 15-30 minute presentation offering tips and advice on protecting your rights when engaging with law enforcement.
