Dear AADM Supporters,
I am incredibly grateful for your unwavering support over the past seven years. The AADM stands as a testament to the incredible power of community action. Every achievement we’ve made has been because of your support. Together, we’ve contributed over $30,000 this year towards advocacy and bail out support. Your generosity has helped individuals regain their freedom, stand up for their rights, and provide a safe space and mentorship for at-risk youth through the ESTPP program. We cannot thank you enough for the impact you’ve made.
With Giving Tuesday approaching on November 28th, we invite you to continue supporting our work by making a donation. Your contributions will allow us to persist in our efforts to fight against discrimination, systemic racism, mass incarceration, police accountability, and the school-to-prison pipeline. Our Giving Tuesday campaign is focused on raising funds for our Freedom Fund, which directly supports Black mothers, juveniles, and individuals in need of advocacy against racial injustices and financial resources to maintain their freedom. Your donation can help alleviate the economic pressure of court fines and fees or provide housing for rehabilitation.
We are currently $15,000 short of reaching our goal this year, and your donation can help bridge that gap. Every dollar you donate goes directly to providing scholarships. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
Here are a few highlights from 2023 that illustrate the impact of your support:
- Mentored over 16 at-risk students through our End School to Prison Pipeline Program, with weekly meetups on Fridays
- Provided $8,170 in bail out assistance and assisted 12 individuals in achieving their community service hours this year
- Transitional housing provided to 56 individuals
- Advocacy support, such as aiding Heather Clarke and Willie Green in advocating against police harassment; you can read their stories on our website

Your ongoing support has made all of these accomplishments possible, and we are incredibly grateful. We’ve encountered challenging times, but the silver lining is that we continue to progress and positively impact our community.
