“Get on the Bus and Vote” Free Rides to the Polls. The Athens Anti-Discrimination will empower registered voters by offering free rides to and from the polling station. Volunteers will canvass neighborhoods and knock on doors. This is a fun way to bring awareness to the importance of voting and to encourage individuals to vote in person.
Pickups will be available at designated locations in Athens Clarke County and surrounding areas. AADM goal is to educate and encourage citizens to vote.
