Members of the ACC Police Advisory Board Development Task Force will work towards creating a sustainable entity; one that will reduce and address incidents between law enforcement and community members within Athens-Clarke County. This infrastructure must be designed to improve communication, transparency, and accountability. The overall goal is to create a model where everyone in our community feels more empowered by police interaction and safe when engaging with officers. As a team, we will commit to this process and ensure that we provide a platform for those most vulnerable to be heard.
