AADM stacks Juneteenth weekend with a bailout initiative, Black Art, and a March on Washington watch party

Athens, GA. –  The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) has stacked Juneteenth weekend with multiple events: a Father’s Day Bailout & a Black Voices & Art Showcase, and a watch party for the Poor People’s Campaign March on Washington. 

Did you know that 67% of people detained in city or county jails are being held pretrial simply because they cannot afford bail? Freedom should not be dependent on financial means. This Juneteenth and Father’s Day weekend, AADM is holding a Father’s Day & Juneteenth Bailout on Thursday, June 16th, to assist those accused of non-violent crimes or misdemeanors.
