Documentary Screening & Panel Discussion to Address Racial Inequities in Athens

This powerful initiative kicks off with an exclusive screening of Changing the Narrative: Stories of Black and Minority Entrepreneurs, a compelling documentary that highlights the challenges, victories, and resilience of Black and minority business owners. The film underscores their vital contributions to the local community and the importance of equitable opportunities for all.

February 28, 2025 | 6:00 – 8:00 PM  |  Encaptivating Events

Following the screening, we will host a dynamic panel discussion on Addressing Racial Inequities in Athens diving into systemic barriers, solutions for economic empowerment, and strategies for fostering inclusive growth. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network, connect with local business leaders, and explore actionable ways to support minority entrepreneurship and community development.

As part of an ongoing effort to amplify diverse voices and inspire change, this initiative will also feature monthly interviews with changemakers, highlighting influential leaders, activists, and entrepreneurs who are driving progress in their communities. These conversations will offer valuable insights, practical strategies, and inspiration for those committed to equity and social impact.

Through these initiatives, we aim to foster long-term success and economic advancement within our community. Join us in celebrating and uplifting the entrepreneurial spirit that drives progress and change!
