The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) will host the 2024 Athens Juneteenth Celebration Saturday June 15th, 11AM-3PM at Athens City Hall. Organizers have curated an event for all ages that focuses on creating a positive experience through music and live entertainment that is festive, reflective, educational, diverse, and inclusive.

This celebration includes music, live performances, food, local nonprofits vendors sharing community resources, an educational art exhibit and more. Begins with the rising of the Juneteenth Flag.

What to expect?

• 9:00am Vendors setup. Must provde your own table and tent.
• 10:30am Juneteenth march. Starts at College Square. Together we will march to City Hall.
• 11:00am Festivities begin with Juneteenth Flag raising.

Guest Speakers: Rev. Daryl Bloodshaw, Hattie Whitehead, Linda Davis, Mikhayla Robinson-Smith (Athens Poet Laureate).

Performers include: Splitz Band, Narlie Wilson , Clarke Central (Got Talent winners), The Prodigy Elite Dolls, League of Step and Girl Power.
